August Goals

Today's blog prompt was monthly goals - I don't really have monthly goals because I try to do daily goals that correspond with my yearly goals. If you read my blog, you know I'm a goal person. This month, here are some of the things I wanted to accomplish (in no particular order):

Work on gift ideas for upcoming celebration (friends having babies, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.).

Finish my summer reading list. Read additional summer and old favorites on the weekends, including Summer I Turned Pretty, Last Summer of You and Me, Marley and Me, Firefly Lane and Nantucket Red.

Try new recipes in the kitchen for dinner and parties.

Finish my birthday random acts of kindness list.

Organize my Pinterest boards. Update my social media accounts.

Watch movies I haven't seen in awhile - Dick and Pippi Longstocking.

Finish my summer bucket list.

Work on organizing the apartment better.

Take more photographs.

Write more blog posts.

I can honestly say that I have completed most of my goals for August already. I try to make them easy, so that they can just fit right into my daily to-do list.

And of course my biggest goal is to savor what's left of summer...
